News was received on Thursday morning that Pte. Dennett H. Davies, of the 5th King's Own Pals, has been killed in action. _____________________________________________________________
Sec.-Lieut. Arthur Holmes, son of Mr. W. W. Holmes, Hest Bank, has been gazetted to the King's Own.
