Author - Laurie S. Stoff. Hardback, 304 pages, published by University Press of Kansas (2006). No cover price but I think I paid $30 for my copy at the gift store at the Liberty National WW1 Memorial Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.
The title and sub-title say it all. A fascinating study, with photographs, of some of the c.6,000 Russian women who joined the Russian military between 1914 and the October Revolution in 1917.
