CONWAY OFFICER WOUNDED INVALIDED HOME. Lieut. Jephson, son of Mrs. E. J. Jephson, of the Gweryl Lodge Nurseries, Conway, has just returned to this country, after being wounded on the Continent. Mr. Jephson holds a commission in the 5th Norfolk Regiment, to which he has been attached about two years. I got into telephonic communication with his mother, last night (writes our representative), and she informed me that up to then she had received no letter from her son, so that she had no idea as to the nature of his injuries. She understood that he was lying at the King Edward Hospital, London. Mr. Edward Jewry Jephson, another son, who is well-known in Conway, has joined one of the Lancer regiments. He was at one time a member of the Burmah Volunteers. (The North Wales Chronicle, 4th September 1914)
