Pretty much set up now, and I've started to add the photos from my recent road trip around NW Wales. Please feel welcome to register as a member, and then I can set up a forum for discussion, information, and questions (and letting me know of my mistakes and omissions). The idea behind this set-up is that, because most war memorials in the UK originate from between 1900 to the late 1940s, so should the county system reflect that, hence the presence of such as the county of the Isle of Ely. -------------------------------------- The old site was started on 8th November 2011, had 5,422 posts, and came to an end on .....(19th April 2015)

Congratulations on your most comprehensive site. You may remember taking photos of my uncle's memorial at the Windermere cemetery, which I see are on the site among so many others. Do you plan to publish only your own images or will the site be available for others to contribute? I could offer images of family memorials at Allerton Cemetery in Liverpool which record WW1 service-related deaths, as well as most of the CWGC headstones. I am happy to offer them if they would be welcome, and we could discuss how to send them to you - I am not too tech-skilled!

Thank you, daggers. I'm fine with you posting photos yourself, or you can email them to me at inremembrance2017@gmail.com and I'll post them, giving you credit. Allerton's not somewhere I've been to yet, although I keep meaning to pay a visit to "The Beatles' Church" at Woolton.

Thank you. I shall work out how best to send you what I have, and have noted the email address. I know that the Beatles tours call often at Woolton church, but did not realise the dedication had been changed from St Peter!!! There are one or two CWGC stones there, as well as some of my forebears. D
