VIOLENT SOLDIER. - Joseph Clayton, living at 19, Greenough-street, was charged with committing a breach of the peace and with being an absentee from the 13th South Lancs. Regiment. - P.C. Reynolds said prisoner was very violent, and witness had to close with him. He was arrested last night, having over-stayed his leave. - Prisoner was remanded to await an escort.
