18597 Private Richard George Dugdale, Lincolnshire Yeomanry. Died 15th April 1917, aged 21. Son of Edward and Elizabeth Jane Dugdale, of Low Mill, Winster, Windermere.
MISSING, PRESUMED DROWNED. DUGDALE, Pte. R. G. - The parents of Pte. R. G. Dugdale, of High Wray, have been informed by the military authorities that he is missing and presumably drowned. He was on the Arcadian which was torpedoed in the Mediterranean on April 15th. He joined the Westmorland Yeomanry and was afterwards drafted into the Lincoln Yeomanry. He was at home two months ago at his younger brother's funeral, who died in Kirkham Military Hospital.
