The Congregational Church in Bilston Street united with High Street Methodist Church in 1970 and the building is now known as St Andrew's United Reformed Church. This is one of two WW1 memorials in St Andrew's and to me it has the look of a Congregational memorial rather than Methodist.202026 Private Jabez Samuel Cole 6th King's Shropshire Light Infantry 16.8.1917, aged 19 Son of Joseph Cole, of 4, Hall Lane, Cinder Hill104083 Gunner Sydney Compston 192nd Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery 16.8.1917, aged 22 Son of Samuel and Susannah Compston, of 22, Tipton Street, Sedgley129237 Gunner Albert Cottam 2nd Battery, 13th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery 19.2.1918, aged 23 Son of Charles William and Eliza Cottam, of "1D", High Street, Sedgley90671 Private Arthur Davies 9th Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) 10.4.1918 John Guest 8606 Private Thomas Harley 1st South Staffordshire Regiment 7.11.1914 James Hinley Millard 165173 Gunner Samuel Charles Newey 3rd Division Ammunition Column, Royal Field Artillery 19.5.1917 John Howard Wilkes - 59244 Corporal John Howard Hubert Wilkes 133rd Battery, Royal Field Artillery 25.5.1915, aged 26 Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilkes, of 21, Tipton Street, SedgleyCompston, Cottam, Davies, and Wilkes are all also named on the memorial tablet at All Saints Church, Sedgley.
