15/1657 Corporal James Alexander Craven, 15th Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Fell in action on 29th May 1918, aged 21. The lectern was given in thanksgiving for the recovery from war wounds of a young Streetly officer in 1916. It has no dedicatory plaque on it which identifies the individual.The sacristy plate is inscribed on the rear IN LOVING MEMORY OF SEC. LIEUT. FREDERICK GEORGE YARDLEY 3RD BATTALION NORTH STAFFORDS. WHO DIED IN CALAIS HOSPITAL ON SEPT. 11TH
