Private H.Johnson, Prince of Wales' North Staffordshire Regiment. Died in South Africa, 15th May 1901.Captain John Jenkinson, North Staffordshire Regiment. Killed on 3rd October 1915.To the Glory of God and in ever loving Memory of our dear Son and Brother John James Wilder Lassetter 2nd Lieutenant of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. killed in action on the Diala River, Mesopotamia, March 8th 1917.
He was Chorister and Cross Bearer at this Church for 18 years and Scout Master at the 1st St Editha's Troop B.P. Scouts in this Town.IN LOVING MEMORY OF GEORGE ALLAN WESTBURY OF THE SHERWOOD FORRESTERS, CHORISTER AND CROSS BEARER IN THIS CHURCH, WHO FELL FIGHTING FOR GOD AND HIS COUNTRY IN FRANCE NOV. 11TH 1917, AGED 19 YEARS.
THIS BRASS IS PLACED HERE BY HIS FRIENDS AS A LASTING TRIBUTE TO A NOBLE YOUNG LIFE.Sergeant Bombardier Thomas William Brittain, Royal Air Force. Killed in a flying accident on 7th September 1943, aged 20.
