Son of George and Catherine Sinker, of Stock's Farm, Horwich; CWGC database gives his age as 28.. 2220 Driver Fred Grundy, 70th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Killed on 25th August 1918, aged 31. Son of Mrs. Grundy, of 48, Chorley New Road, Horwich.74471 Private Fred Kirfoot, 1st/7th, attached 127th Trench Mortar Battery, Manchester Regiment. Killed in action in France on 1st July 1918, aged 19. Son of Frederick and Susannah Kirfoot, of 119, Wright Street, Horwich.Corporal Herbert Ainsworth M.M., Tank Corps. Killed in action on 8th August 1918, aged 26.
