The seaplane shown in our picture is mounted with a quick-firing gun, and is of the sort used recently to bombard the German Fleet. These machines, which are likely to play a prominent part in the future stages of the war, have been the centre of much public interest when they have been manœuvring at our various seaside places. One which flew daily from Ramsgate to Margate was observed by large numbers of residents and visitors.
