Mr. John Llewelyn Rowlands, son of Dr. J. W. Rowlands, Llanaelhaiarn, has passed his final examination qualifying as a medical practitioner. He is taking up a commission forthwith in the R.A.M.C. He is twenty-four years of age. -------------------------------------------------- Private John Griffith, a native of Clynnog, was charged at a special Police Court on Wednesday, before the Mayor, with having been a deserter from a Norfolk Regiment since December last. He was arrested by P.C. Jones, Four-crosses, and P.C. Evans, Llanaelhaiarn, on a farm in Llanaelhaiarn. He was remanded to wait a military escort.
