Pentre Jeweller Sells up Business. Joins the Royal Flying Corps. J. W. C. Perry, jeweller, Pentre, has relinquished his business in order to join the Royal Flying Corps, South Farnborough. This is an example to many young men to show their patriotism and earnestness to do their bit. The aspiring young aeronaut has given up a connection which has taken him ten years to get together, and he has left to take up his duty with the heartiest of good wishes for his success and speedy promotion. (The Rhondda Leader, Saturday 19th August 1916)
