Other memorials and colours currently to be seen at the museum are in their original homes - Lane End in Stoke-on-Trent, Bilston and Rugeley, all in Staffordshire.10068 Corporal J.McGrath, North Staffordshire Regiment. Died 25th January 1917. This headstone was originally in a military cemetery in Basra, Iraq, and was rescued before destruction when the headstones, in a deteriorating condition, were removed to be ground down for road-making. A larger memorial is said to have been put up to replace the lost headstones.29876 Private F.Anthill. Died 2nd January 1918.
