Another social, held on March 3rd, in aid of the Red and Blue Cross Funds, realised £4 4s. During the last fortnight the teachers and scholars have collected and sent to the central depot 56 eggs. Died of wounds, received in action, on 2nd October 1917, aged 22. Son of Walter and Georgina Hartley, of St. John's Row, Langcliffe.
