Son of Herbert and Agnes Ethel Cartmell, of Garstang. CWGC database gives his age as 22.66057 Sapper Thomas Patrick Longworth, Royal Engineers. Missing in France on 9th April 1918, aged 35. Son of Robert Longworth, of 172, Watson's Road, South Shore, Blackpool; husband of Mary Longworth, of Spring Cottage, Bonds.Second Lieutenant Colin Pye, 1st King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Killed in action in France on 8th October 1918, aged 23. Son of Septimus and Margaret Pye, of "Greenbrae," Bowgreave.Second Lieutenant William Thomas M.M., 1st/2nd attached 1st/5th East Lancashire Regiment. Died in France on 8th November 1918, aged 27. Son of Joseph and Annie Thomas. Born at Garstang. CWGC database gives his date of death as 7th November 1918 and his age as 26.29563 Private Frederick Gardner, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Died 5th February 1920. Husband of Ellen Gardner.
