Not named on any memorials in Longridge.50766 Rifleman Richard Hesmondhalgh, 2nd/6th The King's (Liverpool Regiment). Killed in action on 29th May 1918, aged 19. Son of Edward and Elizabeth Hesmondhalgh.193012 Gunner Herbert Thomas Forrest, (North Riding) Heavy Battery, attached Heavy Battery, Australian Corps, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action on 28th September 1918, aged 28. Son of Richard and Ellen Forrest, of Tincourt House, Ribchester. Also named on the memorial plaque in St Wilfrid's Church, Ribchester.
