1663 Private Arthur Cotton, 4th East Lancashire Regiment. Killed in action on 21st June 1915, aged 18. Son of Clement and Elizabeth Cotton, of Blackburn.
Second Lieutenant John Cotton, 150th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Killed in France on 1st July 1916, aged 29. Son of Lawrence and Frances Eleanor Cotton; husband of Margaret Cotton, of "The Pines," Clayton Green, Chorley; native of Blackburn.
