The clock in the church tower is also a memorial, from his parents, John William and Maude Gillibrand Rigby, to Lieutenant William Geoffrey Norris Rigby, 69th Machine Gun Corps, who died 7th July 1916, of wounds recived on the Somme on 6th July 1916, aged 20.
