THE FOOTBALL WAR FUND. At the football match Sabden v. Low Moor, on Saturday, at Sabden, the gate receipts, which amounted to £1 13s., were forwarded to the Football Association for the above fund.

SABDEN POLICEMAN'S BROTHER AT ENSLIN. From the list of casualties reported at attack on Enslin on December 7, it was seen that Private (3,653) T. Parkinson, of the 12th Lancers, along with Lieutenant G. C. De C. Wright, were slightly wounded. Private Parkinson is brother to P.C. Parkinson, stationed at Sabden, and spent part of his furlough at Sabden last Christmas with his brother.
