D.C.M. FOR A WESHAM SOLDIER.
Among the recent awards of the D.C.M. appears the name of Pte. Walter Leigh, of the Loyal North Lancashire Regt. Prior to his marriage 12 months ago Private Leigh resided in Garstang-road, Wesham. He enlisted in September, 1914, and had been on active service about 18 months. He was previously employed as a club collector, and his parents reside at Coppull.
